I forgot to mention that along with cold turkey cutting off all of my bread intake and all sugar intake I can avoid (I can't reasonably say I eat NO sugar, it's stuck in natural foods too), I also cold turkey quit smoking. Now I had never been what I see as addicted, which of course everyone who smokes thinks, but I kept it to only at work and about what would amount to a pack every 2 weeks. Everytime I would quit it would be easy to slide outside on break, but since I started avoiding the sugars I haven't even had the slightest notion.
It sounds contradictory.
Diet is stressful, smoking is "anti-stress".
But really they've gone hand in hand, I postulate that the lack of blood sugar spikes has something to do with it, or maybe just the surge of willpower allowing me to turn down buttery rolls at Logan's also helps me say no to the Marlboro.
